Bursaries & Grants

Each year Business & Professional Women of Greater Moncton awards bursaries and grants from three different categories. Due to the annual success of the Phenomenal Women Award, we have been able to award over $40,000 in bursaries and grants since 2013.

Employability Grant

The Employability Grant awards up to $1,000 to women who wish to improve their employability and earning potential. This grant has been established to assist women who face financial or other barriers to employment. Previous applicants have used funds granted to assist with child care costs while attending training, purchase appropriate work wear and to cover moving expenses to be closer to work.

Elaine Burke-Gauvin Memorial Bursary

Special consideration is given to mature students, single parents, those demonstrating financial need, those engaged in community and volunteerism and women intending to study in the Human Resources field.
